All-or-Nothing Thinking
Seeing things in extremes: “If you make one mistake, you’re a total failure.”
Don’t make black and white judgments. Think in terms of percentages, i.e., 40 percent on-time and 60 percent late.
Overgeneralizations
A single event is seen as a never-ending pattern of defeat: "Things will always be this way."
Quantify instead of using words like every, all, none, etc. Examine the evidence for your conclusions.

Mental Filtering
Seeing only negative details and dwelling on them: “Look at this mistake; the whole thing is ruined.”

Look for the positives in the situation. Focus on solving the problem instead of dwelling on the negatives.
Rejecting Positive Experiences As Though They Don’t Count
“So what if I got a promotion last month? I just messed up on this project, and I’m sure I’m going to get fired.”
Give equal weight to your positive experiences.
Jumping to conclusions
Without finding out whether it’s true, you assume the worst: “I know I didn’t get the job.”
Check out the situation by asking questions. See if the evidence supports your conclusion. Magnifying or Minimizing Situations
Exaggerating the importance of things; thinking the worst will always happen. Minimizing your positive traits or the other person’s shortcomings: “She said no because I’m not good enough.”
Make an honest assessment of the situation. What are the (realistic) odds of the worst happening?

What are the positives in this situation?
Emotional Reasoning
You assume your negative emotions are a true reflection of a situation: “I feel like a loser, so therefore I am a loser.”
Ask yourself questions about your feelings -- do they tell the whole story?
“Should” Statements
Motivating yourself by “shoulds” and ending up feeling guilty or frustrated: “I should buy gifts for everyone in the office for Christmas.”
Re-examine and question your personal rules and expectations. Find at least three exceptions to your rule. Allow yourself some flexibility.
Labeling and Mislabeling
Instead of describing the behavior when you make a mistake, you label yourself negatively: “I’m stupid.”
Describe the behavior; don’t label yourself or another person. Limit your observation to the specific situation.
Personalizing
Seeing yourself as the cause of outside events that you were not responsible for: “We lost the bid because my name was on the project.”
Force yourself to prove that you were responsible for the situation. Check out your assumptions and conclusions. What is the evidence?
Changing Mind TrapsWhen you find yourself falling into mind traps, ask yourself these questions to help avoid the stressful effects of negative self-talk.

1. Is this thought really true?

2. Am I jumping to conclusions about what might happen?

3. Does the evidence support or refute my thoughts?

4. Am I exaggerating or over-emphasizing a negative aspect of this situation?

5. Am I making a disaster out of something small?

6. How do I know this outcome will really happen?

7. What if it does happen?

8. Is it really as bad as it seems?

9. Is it to my advantage to maintain this view?

10. Is there a different way I can look at this situation?

If you find that your self-talk contains many distortions, you might want to consider seeking professional help to learn new ways to redirect your thinking.ReframingReframing is a way to manage how you look at things. Danish Army Specific: In 1994 a study was made to find a tank to supersede the Leopard 1. The study recommended purchase of a tank of the Leopard 2A4 type. Due to economy used tanks were preferred, and the Netherlands had some for sale. Before an agreement was made, the tanks were bought by Austria and in 1997 the American M1A1 Abrams came into the picture.At the same time Germany had a new defence agreement with cut in spendings and started down-sizing their tank fleet. 51 used Leopard 2A4 (all produced between 1980 - 1986) were ordered in Germany in December 1997 worth approx. 780 mil. Danish KR. The Danish Leopard 2A4 have been up-graded to A5 standard. This includes add-on armour, "hunter-killer" capacity and preparation for a modern digital command- and-control system.18 A4 were sent to Denmark in order to be able to train crews and gather information. By the end of June 2000 the first unit was operational with the Leopard 2A4.The rest remained in storage in Germany, until they could fit into the production line at Krauss-Maffei Wegmann, who had been awarded a contract regarding the up-date to A5 standard.Historical: The Leopard 2 is a main battle tank developed by Krauss-Maffei AG, now Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW), of Munich, Germany. The Leopard 2 is a successor to the Leopard 1. The origin of the Leopard 2 began with the joint West German - US programme to develop an advanced tank known as the MBT-70/Kampfpanzer 70. The US Army has adopted the FN MAG as the M240 to replace the previous US GPMG (also widely used by allied nations), the M60 machine gun. The GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun) when used in the SF (Sustained Fire) role, i.e tripod mounted, is used as a medium machine gun (MMG) to support the company in offensive & defensive operations, as well as during withdrawal.
In this role the GPMG SF is very effective, and can accurately hit point targets up to 1800 metres away or provide fire over an area. The crew of three consists of the gunner, loader and the DC (detachment commander).
The weapon's sight is used in conjunction with an aiming post to allow the crew to engage targets that they cannot see, due to fog, smoke or darkness. Its relative lightweight allows the weapon and ammunition to be carried quickly into action by its three man crew.

SINGAPORE, June 26, 2008 (AFP) - The Singapore opposition would ruin the wealthy city-state's achievements in five years if they ever gained power, the country's founding father Lee Kuan Yew said.

Lee, 84, warned Singapore voters against putting the opposition at the helm of government "in a moment of fickleness or just sheer madness" when they get "bored" at some point in the future.
Should this happen, "I think all bets are off because in five years they (opposition) can ruin this place," he told delegates at an international forum late Wednesday.
He stressed that, unlike many other countries, Singapore did not have natural resources such as oil, gas, forests, timber and aluminium.
"When you are Singapore and your existence depends on performance -- extraordinary performance, better than your competitors -- but that performance disappears because the system on which it is based is eroded, then you've lost everything."
Lee, widely credited for shepherding the underdeveloped port into one of Asia's wealthiest nations in one generation, said younger Singaporeans often tell him he is "playing the same old record" when he delivers his message.
Singapore's small opposition has only two seats in a parliament dominated by the People's Action Party which has been elected since 1959.
Despite its economic success, local and international civil rights groups have criticised the government for cracking down hard on dissenters and political activists.
Street protests are rare and public gatherings of five people or more are banned without a police permit.
Lee has maintained that Western-style liberal democracy is not the right model for Singapore.
He said one ingredient for a country's success is putting able leaders in government. This could be difficult under a more freewheeling US-style democracy in which "you are judged in accordance with your persuasive powers," he said.
Lee holds the cabinet rank of Minister Mentor in the government of his son, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The wedge shape of the Spider can be traced back to the SZ which was launched in 1989, and more still to the Proteo concept car which Alfa showed at the Geneva Motor Show two years later. It was 1994 before the public got to see the actual Spider, but it was worth the wait. With a dramatic wedge waistline running down the car and beautifully sculptured grille flanked by twin headlamps (actually one big lamp behind), the Spider was instantly recognizable as an Italian classic. Even with front-wheel drive, unusual for an Alfa sports car, it used the power well, thanks to MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link rear, again both new, as the cars previously used double wishbones and a live rear axle. 北京一家食品厂遭离职员工踢爆，今年6月8日端午节前后卖的粽子，是在今年1至2月间就已经先包好，而且在完全没有冷藏的情况下，置放在有老鼠的库房内半年，这批有不少变酸的粽子，已有将近300万颗流入北京市面。
网友得知此消息后表示：“难怪今年端午肚子拉得凶。”但也有网友认为该名离职员工夸大其词，“放半年的粽子早就发臭、发霉，怎么卖出去。”　　
因此，就有网友便直指：“我看又是一则假新闻。”目前北京市政府已带回该食品厂粽子化验，以查明是否确有其事。　
举报事件的是该厂的老工人罗霞（化名）。因厂里长期欠薪，她今年离开了该厂。罗霞说，她走时，厂内库房中存有近300万枚粽子。“你可别以为这么多粽子是这些天包出来的，从正月里就开始包了，这叫‘乾粽子’。”罗霞说，‘乾粽子’就是包好了未经煮熟的粽子。
正月开始包厂内满老鼠。

她说，每年素香斋提前4个月进入粽子的生产期。到了端午的前一周，该厂每天的发货量至少在10万枚以上，如果当时包，根本来不及。粽子包好后，工人宿舍和厂房腾出来，在地上放个门板，直接把乾粽子堆在上面，一直堆到房间的顶部。她说，厂内10平方米的房间能放30万个粽子，房间里有老鼠。

每年端午节前，粽子销售达到高峰，存放的乾粽子就被拿出来煮。之后工人就把煮熟的粽子直接倒在院子内晾晒。晾晒一会儿后，工人会往粽子上喷水，慢慢院子就变成了“游泳池”。之后就是淘粽子，工人把粽子从水中捞出来，放进塑料袋或筐里，等待发货。
罗霞说，在端午前的一周，厂里还会存煮熟的粽子，因为怕要货多时煮不过来。厂里没有冷冻设备，就在房间里铺上帆布和薄膜防漏水，用砖把门口堵好，然后直接往房里倒上一米多深的水，熟粽子直接扔进去。到发货的时候，有的粽子已经酸了，厂里就重新煮一下，有时候甚至煮都不煮，水冲一下就直接发货。至此，这些生产已久并未冷藏的乾粽子，成为端午节前的“新货”，流入市场。

It's sad when the titular character in a grand epic such as "Prince Caspian" turns out to be the most colourless, boring person in the entire film. Sure, he's pretty to look at, but he's hollow, like a chocolate Easter egg with some cheap plastic toy rattling around inside, very much like his performance.This shouldn't really come as a surprise to us, because we can see what a dreary performance Ben Barnes has in store for us from the film's trailer, where he woodenly proclaims that he is Prince Caspian in very much the same way a log might. Heck, even the animated characters of Reepicheep the mouse and the badger have more onscreen charisma than living, breathing Barnes.Oh, well, as I've said, he is good-looking enough, and anyway, the Pevensie siblings more than make up for his dire acting skills with their bubbly banter. While Caspian and Peter Pevensie (the High King of Narnia) compete with each other to see who is best (at sword fighting and whatever else it is that young adult males need to prove), Peter is by far more interesting and endearing.Still, the person or creature that really steals the show is Trumpkin the Dwarf, played by Peter Dinklage, who is half their size and has twice the talent. His portrayal of the cynical, witty and fiercely loyal Dwarf carries the film all the way to the end. In fact, it is his fate the audience seemed to care more about, instead of Prince Caspian's. Every time Trumpkin gets hurt or goes missing, it feels like there is something missing from the film.The special effects are quite good, but smaller releases this year have done better in that department than "Prince Caspian", for example "The Spiderwick Chronicles". In this day and age, such special effects have become quite ordinary and expected. Although the film was meant to portray a darker Narnia, it was in parts a bit too dark, to the point where you couldn't see what was happening and led you to the brink of losing interest.Also, the battle scenes didn't feature enough of the Narnians. The focus was mostly on the Telmarine soldiers versus the Pevensies and Caspian. What made the first film such a joy to watch was seeing all kinds of creatures of different sizes and shapes fight each other. Here, we catch only slight glimpses of the creatures, not anywhere near the extent one would have expected. As much has been made of the improvements in the design and technical aspects of characters like the minotaurs and the centaurs, it is disappointing to not see as much of them as we could have hoped for.There are some really fun scenes, especially when the siblings first return to Narnia and explore the islands and the ruins of Cair Paravel where they rediscover forgotten treasures. When they get to know the other creatures of the new Narnia, it is just as interesting for us as it is for them. Things just end up seeming too easy for them and for Caspian, and everything that happens does so as if by clockwork, following a much-established formula that Hollywood has honed to perfection.At the end of the day, there isn't really much suspense, because all of us watching it, regardless of whether you've read the books or seen the cartoons before, will know what will happen next, and after that, and so on. No surprises to be had, and quite an unsatisfactory ending. If there's only one big movie you want to see this year, you should probably give this one a miss. Read the book instead.

Myanmar has agreed to allow "all aid workers" to stage a relief effort for cyclone survivors, UN chief Ban Ki-moon said after meeting junta leader Than Shwe here on Friday.

After meeting with the senior general for more than two hours, Ban told reporters: "He has agreed to allow all aid workers regardless of nationalities."

Asked if the agreement marked a breakthrough, Ban said: "I think so."
"I had a very good meeting with the senior general and particularly on these aid workers," he said. "He's taken quite a flexible position on this matter."

Than Shwe also agreed to allow Yangon airport to be used as an international hub for aid distribution, Ban said.
Than Shwe, who refused to take Ban's phone calls after Cyclone Nargis hit three weeks ago, had previously refused to allow foreign aid workers to stage a full-scale relief effort after the storm left 133,000 dead or missing.

The two leaders met at a modern complex in the junta's purpose-built capital of Naypyidaw in central Myanmar, where Than Shwe rules in almost complete isolation from a secret bunker that few outsiders have ever seen.

Ban is the most senior foreign leader to visit the new capital, where Than Shwe abruptly relocated the entire government in late 2005.
Their meeting lasted two hours and 15 minutes. Delegations for both men attended the first part of the talks, but the last 45 minutes of discussions involved only the leaders, Ban's chief of staff Vijay Nambiar, and four Myanmar generals.

During a photo opportunity at the start of the meeting, Than Shwe remained impassive as he stood in a shirt covered in medals and military decorations.

This Few weeks Really Very Busy..And Seldom Have time to Write My Blog.This Few Day's Always Go "Looker's pub" With Kenneth..and His Girl leong..& We Know a bunch of Vietnam Girls there..

*Hahas, Frenkly say they are Girls in the pub. after this few day's Being together with them , i feel that actually they are not that kind of people which other people think They are .....? Just Came Back from Camp after My Guard Duty..So tired..Still have to Work & go army market and help johnny buy thing's...At Night still have to book in at 8:30pm. today really have quite alot of thing's to do..so sianzZz. .Hope Day's Can Past Faster. . "Especially For This 8 Month's" . . . Hoping to do alot of thing's after My ns Life..

She Study st.hailda's Sec School..Everytime after school she will come to expo and l00k for her Busy Working Mum..She's a good girl..
she always bring alone her little brother to My Counter and Buy 1 Single Mushroom plus Fries.:] Sometime's i will give her some onion ring's when people are all gone ..and she always come to My counter because i can give her extra Ntuc point's =X * Still remember got 1 time is Super funny...*Hahas..that time she buy alot of thing's from me,after that she give me her grandmum's Ntuc Membership link card..
then she stright away walk away..and leaving her poor grandmum de Ntuc Link card here.and that time i see the picture of her grandmum..is very very cute! is Just like her! hahas..so after my work i bring back the card back into expo to find her..after half and hour finally found her. at a table sleeping...

Ater that alot of thing's happen then we finally become togther. .

I still remember We are quite happy at My Birthday BBQ. that time..
we sit at the east coast jetty the whole night looking at stars.and that was really a very Beautiful night.*Hahas,She Notti bites Me.and of cos i bites back..then we spent the whole night bitting each other..

Still remember got 1 time we went sentosa.she wake up early in the morning 5am and Make a sandwhich for me..althought the egg was not smash properly..But i can feel her love in the sandwhich..and yes.i love her. . =)

Still remember 1 day i was with haixiang at parkway we walk pass the Macdonals.and she knock on the glass and ask us to come in..she introduce Me to her bf and that is Where i Met her the first time...

The 3rd Day Back from india . .

Thinking back Last two weeks was a Very Hard Day for us..we represent singapore armed Forces to inida to train with the india army...
*The 1st day when i reach The New delhi airport i saw Many indians standing right infront of me, and all the eye's there are looking at us..omg! The Feeling was so Uncomfortable..*
After that i was eaten $4 Rupees When i Enter the toilet.cos i have no small change to give them..so they eat away My $4 rupees.

After That We Reach ThE RailWay Station Somewhere around New Delhi?? And We Have to Take 8 hours Of Train to "BABINA" and 3 hours Of Bus to reach Our Training camp..We Just Spent Day's travelling like this...

We was Very Tired When We Reach there..
My 1st thought when i walk into the bunk..i think wah " ho seh liao, this time sure very hot" *hahas -But to My Surpise The Bunk was like a Mini Chalet..got : toilet , bath room , aircon, football court ,&Basketball court ..i really like to stay there..it's Very Comfortable .
After that we went training for 5 day's..

After Training we clean our stuff and prepare for Our Education tour..
TAJMAHAL : 1 of the 7 Wonders in the World. . & Argra Fort

And in The civillian world..we saw & learn alot of thing's..
Example Like : How to chopP Price & Bargain . Right ? =)
The people There are poor..But They Still give us respect and friendlyness...i can feel a kind of warm when i was talking to them..the children there are cute too..how i wish i could also have kid's like them :)

And the food was very very nice~`! Especially ThE Mutton Curry !! and the japati & Rapi..
